It has been a notable learning experience to have fully participated in your workshop. In doing so, I started out with certain goals I expected to achieve...initially, to be able to create, find expression and explore through your guidance the muse of Art. As the workshop evolved my goals switched to emphasize growth in developing that which I felt to be strengths and to evaluate my weaknesses, honestly. For this growth as a writer, I appreciate your insightful and keen sense of how to grasp our present level and to advance. I was able to see clearly how useful it can be to color inside the lines as well as outside, as I generally prefer. That which shows the true measure of what was gained could be seen in my overflowing notebook. Thank you for your encouragement—
—Karen T.

“Janet Sadler, copy editor and designer, has polished it all, making me do my homework and providing steady encouragement. It’s been great working with her. I’ve found a new friend.”
—Ruth W. Pardoe, in the preface to The Letters of Mary Sprague: A Courtship by Correspondence—March 1875 to September 1876. [Self-published with the assistance of Sadler Publications; paperback perfect-bound, printed on-press locally; 500 copies.

Ms. Sadler is a consummate professional who, among many other assignments, was primarily responsible for the development and production of all publications and advertising and promoting the company’s programs. In addition, she bore the primary responsibility for the company’s public relations. She repeatedly demonstrated her ability to deliver quality, attractive work within very modest budgets. She was highly professional in everything she did and paid a great deal of attention to the important details that are frequently overlooked by others. Ms. Sadler also has excellent media contacts throughout the Pioneer Valley. It was a pleasure to work with her.
—Allan Hershfield
Former board member Commonwealth Opera (a nonprofit performing arts organization in Northampton, Mass.)
